Robustness, quality and reliability are critical in heat transfer solutions working in critical and/or demanding processes.

The same applies to components and parts. By using only genuine spare parts from SPX customers minimize the risk of unscheduled stoppages due to premature failure of non-original components and parts.

The original spare parts are designed in accordance with very strict specifications and production is tested regularly, to ensure we deliver quality and reliability.

Eiken Maritime offers:

• Pre-cleaning inspection of plate heat exchanger
• Removal of gaskets
• Cleaning of plates  - done by either:
• Mechanical cleaning, typically using a high-pressure jet, or
• Chemical cleaning, using a carefully selected cleaning solution providing best cleaning efficiency and taking into account plate material
• Inspection of plates and crack/defect detection (gasket groove; dye penetrant testing for cracks & pinholes)
• Gaskets are replaced with new gaskets
• Plate heat exchanger is reassembled, and pressure tested to ensure performance level

To maximize customer’s uptime, the APV replacement plate pack solution is a reliable and cost-efficient way to rapid recovery.

The concept includes swapping the worn plate pack to a new plate pack with identical specifications to match existing process conditions, thereby significantly minimizing downtime.
